Health authorities have said that as of Wednesday morning a total of 16,904 vaccination appointments all across Cyprus will be available for people aged 71 and above.
And that, as of Thursday, an additional Vaccination Centre will be operating at the premises of the old Electricity Board in Paphos.
Seven units will be operating simultaneously in the coastal city.
As of Saturday, a total of 58,490 vaccinations were carried out all across Cyprus with 19,221 of which concerning individuals who had completed their vaccination by receiving both doses of the vaccine.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health continues the vaccination coverage of health professionals, vulnerable groups and the elderly, according to an official announcement.
The aim is to administer the first dose to the age group of 70 years and over within the next two weeks.
