Child pornography cases in Cyprus recorded an alarming rise this year compared to 2020 after 153 cases have been examined so far compared to 133 the same period last year.
A total of 191 cases were examined during 2020, Philenews also reported on Thursday.

The latest case of child pornography concerns a 43-year-old man from Nicosia district who has been remanded in custody fir six days following his arrest earlier this week.
The investigation of the case began after a tipoff from Europol and the crimes seem to have taken place between February 13 and April 28.
