Three test positive for Covid-19 at A&E of Famagusta Hospital

Two health care workers and a member of the office staff of the A&E at Famagusta Hospital have tested positive for Covid-19, CNA reports.

It said the three were among the 30 new cases announced yesterday evening.

One of the health care workers was tested after tracing of a Cypriot diplomat who had tested positive last Thursday.

Ten people were yesterday asked to give a sample while the A&E has been disinfected.

Meanwhile, a patient who was being treated at Larmaca Hospital was transferred to the Famagusta Hospital, which is the referral hospital for coronavirus, after testing positive.

CNA said the patient was being treated in the orthopedic clinic, in isolation. All his contacts are being traced.
