Three Road Transport Department officers were suspended on Thursday following revelations they might have intervened with the department’s system in coastal Paphos.
Specifically, the officers allegedly tampered with the system by crediting successes to driving schools for learners who had taken the exam on specific dates and times even though this never happened.
The revelations came to light by the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation and an investigation is ongoing, according to insiders.
