Three nurses and an infant have tested positive to COVID-19 at Makarion Hospital.
In a statement, Dr. Avraam Elia, director of the children’s clinic at the Hospital, noted that the members of the staff had not been vaccinated. He added that all protocols provided for such cases have been implemented, with the confirmed cases going into quarantine and the areas being disinfected.
Besides an infant without any symptoms has also tested positive, while the remaining children that are being treated at the Makarion Hospital for COVID-19 have no symptoms and are in no danger.
