Three coronavirus patients died overnight at Famagusta reference hospital, health authorities announced on Tuesday.
The patients — two of them women — were aged between 60 and 85 with one having contracted the virus at an elderly home in Limassol over the weekend.
The covid-19 cluster in that home had reached some 50 people, residents and staff, and prompted a negative daily record of cases which rose above 300.
