Police on Monday went on alert after a man walking outside the Indian embassy in Nicosia made threats against the diplomatic mission, according to its guard.
The pedestrian then got into a car parked nearby and sped away, Philenews reports.
The car was tracked down and the driver got arrested and is being interrogated, police said.
