Thirty-two citizens, four premises fined over covid measures breach

Police fined 32 citizens and four establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

They had carried out a total of 2,941 inspections, according to Philenews/CNA.

In Nicosia, 754 inspections led to five citizens getting fined, while in Limassol 13 citizens were booked after a total of 468 checks.

In Larnaca, 727 inspections led to three citizens getting fines, while in Paphos seven citizens and three establishments were booked after 419 inspections.

In Famagusta, 383 inspections led to four citizens and one establishment getting fined.

In Morphou, 172 inspections led to no fines at all, while Port and Navy police carried out 18 checks and also booked no one.
