A second health professional has tested positive for coronavirus at Polis Chrysochous Hospital, bringing the total there to three — two health professionals and a worker.
Tracing has started of contacts with samples being taken from the professional and family environment.
Citing sources, CNA said that the first confirmed case at Polis Hospital that was confimed on Sunday is a family member of a health professional at the blood centre of Paphos Hospital who tested positive in the beginning of Sunday.
Meanwhile sample taking is underway at Polis Chrysochou, partly financed by local authorities for residents of the town and nearby villages.
