Limassol police are investigating the theft of €5500 from a fast food restaurant employee as he was preparing to enter a bank.
Philenews said that the incident occurred at 11.30 am.
The employee had gone to the bank with the takings of the long weekend but was attacked by an unknown person who grabbed the bag with the cash and disappeared.
The suspect is described as aged between 30 and 35, medium built with blond hair. Photo of suspect from CCTV.
