Theano, the mother of President Nicos Anastasiades, died today at 94.
Mrs. Theano was in a private clinic in Limassol and was visited this morning by the president, who, afterwards visited a seriously injured police officer at the Limassol General Hospital.
After the President was informed of her death, he and his family returned to the private clinic. No announcements regarding a funeral have been made as of yet.
