The community council of Neo Chorio village in Paphos district has donated €50,000 to state hospitals to buy mobile units for disinfecting medical staff at the end of their shift and other healthcare products, philenews reports.
Neo Chorio community leader Andreas Machimos said that the three mobile units cost €10,000 each and will be placed at Paphos Hospital, Makario Hospital in Nicosia and Larnaca Hospital.
He said that three FNC devices will also be purchased with these funds as well as face masks for the medical staff.
Finally, he mentioned that €3,000 of the funds “are earmarked for the Polis Chrysochous hospital to buy required supplies for the needs of our area.”
