The met office has issued a yellow alert for Sunday as a heat wave grips Cyprus.
Temperatures will soar to 41 C inland and 32 C in the mountains. Maximum temperatures will be 34 C on the south and east coasts and 32 C on the west and north coasts.
The day will be mainly fine.
The extreme high temperature warning is in force from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Temperatures will remain at the same levels on Monday and Tuesday, edging down a little on Wednesday but still slightly above the average for the time of year.
