Temperatures set to hit 40 C on Thursday, Friday

Another heat wave is on its way, with temperatures expected to hit 40 C inland on Thursday and Friday.

Temperatures have been in the mid to high 30s the past days and are expected to remain at these levels today and on Wednesday.

According to the weather forecast, Tuesday will be mainly fine but with increased clouds at intervals in the west and north coasts. Increased clouds at intervals are also expected at noon and afternoon inland and in the mountains.

Temperatures will be 38 C inland, 31 C on the west coast, 33 C on the remaining coasts and 27 C in the mountains. Tomorrow morning may see light fog. Temperatures will be similar to Tuesday’s with local increased clouds, mainly in the west and in the afternoon inland and in the mountains.

Thursday and Friday will see an increase in temperatures to above average for the time of year.
