Three teenagers — one 17 year old and two 15 year olds — were arrested on Sunday to facilitate police investigations into a case of burglary.
The complaint was lodged by members of an archaeologicalĀ team who are staying at a primary school in the Limassol district. They said that between 9.pm on August 4 and 2.00 am on August 5, someone hadĀ broken into the school and taken four cameras, a sound system and three pairs of sunglasses.
One of the cameras was found hidden in the village’s churchyard while evidence was obtained regarding the three youths who were arrested. Their homes were searched and another two cameras were found in the house of the 17 year old. The fourth camera was found near the school.
Episkopi police are investigating.
