Ayia Napa police are looking for a 28 year old Swedish tourist after a complaint by his friend, also a 28 year old Swedish tourist, that he forced him at knife point to transfer €2500 to a bank account.
According to the victim, the incident occurred at 4 pm on Tuesday at an Ayia Napa apartment.
He said that the suspect had also stolen a mobile and a lap top, left the knife at the scene and fled.
Police who searched the area found the mobile phone and the laptop, as well as the knife.
An arrest warrant was issued and the suspect is being sought.
