Two suspected burglars were arrested outside a shop in Polis Chrysochous, tools in hand, after they were spotted by passers-by who notified the police.
Police rushed to the scene and found two men trying to break into a shop.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening in the Prodromi neighbourhood of Polis Chrysochous.
The two suspects, both aged 40, have been detained while police investigate.
