The management and medical staff of Eden Resort Wellness Rehabilitation Center in Tersephanou held a surprise musical event on Wednesday for their patients recuperating from Coronavirus.
Aiming to alleviate this challenging period patients spend away from friends and family, the staff played the guitar, the bouzouki and sang in a musical performance held in the outdoor area of the rehabilitation centre.
Patients walked out onto their room balconies at a safe distance of more than 100 m to enjoy this short musical break offered by the medical staff caring for them.
Among the ‘performers’ were the Centre’s General Manager Giorgos Vouvakos, the Famagusta Referral Hospital’s Scientific Director Dr Amalia Hadjiyianni and Dr Christos Kypris, Pathologist and coordinator of doctors at the Famagusta Referral Hospital.
