A couple of mountain roads are close to traffic due to snow and frost while others are only open to vehicles with chains or 4X4s, traffic police said on Thursday morning.
Snow in Troodos square is now 23cm high and the view breathtaking but Thursday’s sunny weather is to be replaced by Friday and over the weekend with heavy clouds and rain.
According to Thursday’s police bulletin, the Platres-Troodos and Farmakas-Odou roads are close to traffic.
And the following ones only open to vehicles with chains or 4X4s:
