The freezing temperatures and snowfall on the island’s mountains reached Paphos and in particular the village of Panayia.
Standing at an altitude of 900 metres above sea level, Panayia residents saw snow for the first time this year.
The Paphos mountains resembled Troodos on Wednesday, as the first snowflakes started falling in Panayia and nearby communities such as Statos and Asproyia.
