The Health Ministry said on Tuesday that a batch of smoked salmon has been recalled because of listeria.
The smoked salmon was found to be unsuitable for human consumption after tests carried out by the state lab on the specific batch detected Listeria monocytogenes.
More specifically, the ministry said the following product was being recalled:
Type: SMOKED SALMON SLICED
Brand: 5 OCEANS
Bar code: 5291002000364
Weight: 100g
Best before: 22.03.2019
The ministry said that the company has already recalled the product but because some quantities may already have been bought consumers are urged not to consume it and to return it to the place of purchase.
