The discovered body in an advanced state of decomposition at Limassol General Hospital’s helipad grounds in mid-October belongs to a homeless foreign man, aged around 40.
This is what police said on Tuesday, adding that the deceased person seems to have had serious health issues.
And that the last time authorities had communicated with him was last July.
The body was discovered by the crew of a private contractor carrying out cleaning works at the helipad.
They alerted the police who, after initial investigations, had said no foul play was suspected in the case.
Police then started to investigate the files of six people missing from 2010 onwards.
