A six year old child is in serious condition at Makarios Hospital in Nicosia after a near drowning at a swimming pool at a house in Latsia.
Police said the incident occurred around 15.40 when under circumstances under investigation the child swallowed a lot of water.
He was rushed to Nicosia Hospital and from there to Makarios Hospital.
Police are investigating.
