Police reported 79 individuals and one establishment all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violating measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
They had carried out a total of 3,631 checks, and most violations were failure to wear a protective mask or breaking the set curfew.
Police reported 24 individuals and one establishment in Nicosia, 15 citizens in Limassol, 10 in Larnaca, 18 in Paphos, nine in Famagusta and three in Morphou.
No violations were reported in the island’s two airports or by port police.
