Two men – one aged 23 and the other 63 – died on Wednesday evening after their motorcycles collided on Heroes Street in Nicosia’s Tymvos area of Makedonitissa.
The 23-year-old is Victoras Kouroufexis and the second road victim is Christakis Kolocasides, police said.
They were both rushed to Nicosia General Hospital but pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Police are investigating the cause of the new fatal accident.
It is still unclear whether the two motorcyclists were wearing helmets.
