A 24 year old British tourist was arrested on Monday and is expected to appear in court for a remand on Tuesday following an assault and injury of a 24 year British tourist in Ayia Napa early on Sunday.
The victim sustained head injuries and was operated on in Nicosia Hospital. He remains in intensive care.
Monday’s arrest was the second in connection with the same case. Just after midnight on Sunday police arrested a 21 year old British tourist who named the 24 year old.
