A search and rescue operation underway since noon to find a diver reported as missing in the area near Larnaca airport is still underway, state radio said on Saturday afternoon.
The SAR centre was notified at exactly 12.40pm of the incident concerning a 28-year-old Cypriot diver.
A police helicopter, marine police patrol boats and fire service and army divers were in the area looking for the young man.
