Weak low pressure is affecting the area with dust at intervals until Friday morning, the met office said.
Thursday will be cloudy at intervals with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the west and north and gradually in other areas. Snow is expected to fall in the higher Troodos peaks.
Temperatures will be 18 C inland and on the coast and around 5 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be initially partly cloudy with possible scattered showers and some snow in the higher mountain peaks. The weather will improve gradually. Temperatures fall to 7 C inland, 11 C on the coasts and 1 C in the mountains.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be mainly fine with increased cloud at intervals.
Temperatures will rise slightly over the three day period to above average for the time of the year.
There is 50 cm of snow on Troodos Square.
