Weak low pressure is affecting the area and today will be partly cloudy with scattered showers or isolated thunderstorms at intervals, mainly inland, the southeast and the mountains.
On the higher Troodos peaks, there may be snowfall or sleet.
Temperatures will rise to 17 C inland, around 19 C on the coasts and 9 C in the mountains.
Tonight will become gradually fine. Temperatures will fall to 5 C inland, around 10 C on the coast and 1 C on the mountains where locally there will be frost.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be mainly fine but at intervals there will be increased cloud locally.
Temperatures will edge up a little on Tuesday and Wednesday, remaining at the same levels on Thursday at a little above the seasonal average.
