Acting on an international arrest warrant issued by Interpol, police on Sunday arrested a 53 year old Russian woman in Paphos.
Philenews said the woman is wanted in Russia in connection with an inquiries into a number of offences, without specifying. It added that the woman was tracked down in Cyprus. The authorities were alerted and Cypriot police went ahead with her arrest.
The 53 year old is expected to appear in court tomorrow for the start of extradition proceedings, the website added.
