A 73 year old woman from Russia died instantly when she was hit by a car while trying to cross Nissi Avenue in Ayia Napa on Thursday afternoon.
Philenews said the woman was hit by a taxi driven by a 65 year old Greek Cypriot.
The driver tested negative for alcohol.
This is the second accident involving a pedestrian in less the 24 hours.
Earlier on Thursday, a 61 year old man was rushed to Paphos hospital after he was hit by a car while crossing a street. His condition has been described as critical.
