In a posting on its Twitter account, the Russian Embassy in Cyprus expressed serious concern about the incident of assault against a Russian citizen in Larnaca on 22 August.
The Embassy expressed hope that the Cypriot Authorities would carry out a detailed and objective investigation and that they would take measures according to the law.
