A 29 year old man who tried to hide in a school yard after a failed attempt to rob a kiosk with a kitchen knife, has been referred to stand trial before Larnaca Criminal Court on November 17.
He will remain in police custody until then.
The suspect entered a kiosk wearing a hood and brandishing a knife, but was chased off by the owner and members of the public.
He was apprehended by police when he tried to hide in the school yard of Meneou primary school.
