The Department of Public Works has published the roads that will close to traffic on Sunday, January 19, 2020, for the Nicosia Half Marathon.
The race will start at Ayios Antonios park on Stasinou Avenue and will run through the following roads which will close to traffic:
-Stasinou Avenue, from the junction with Androcleous Street up to Pouliou Kapota Street
-Pouliou Kapota / Ayiou Andreou / Kantaras Streets from Salaminos street up to BATA round about
-Ayiou Ilarionos Street from the junction with BATA to the height of Synergasias Street
-Synergasias Street, from BATA round about up to Gregori Afxendiou Street
-Ayiou Ilarionos Street (only the two lanes towards the round about) from the junction with Kolokotroni Street up tot BATA round about
To facilitate circulation, the following passageways will cut through the race track:
-Salaminos Avenue – Evgenias Theodotou Street junction (for access to / exit from the Old Town)
-Pouliou Kapota Street-Aegeos Street junction (to/from Kaimakli)
-Ayiou Andreou-Archangelou Michael junction (to/from Pallouriotissa)
-Archiepiskopou Makariou III / Ayiou Ilarionos junction (to/from North Pole area)
