Low pressure is affecting the area and Wednesday will be mainly cloudy with local showers and possible isolated thunderstorms in the morning, mainly close to the coast. There may be sleet or snow in the higher Troodos peaks.
Temperatures will be 17 C inland and on the south and east coasts, 18 C on the north and west coasts and around 8 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly cloudy with local showers at intervals near the coast and possible isolated thunderstorms after midnight. Temperatures will fall to 7 C inland, 10 C on the coast and 1 C in the mountains where frost is expected.
Thursday will start off cloudy with local showers, isolated thunderstorms and snow in the mountains.
A gradual improvement is expected in the afternoon. Temperatures will drop to below average for the time of year.
Friday and Saturday will be mainly fine. Temperatures will edge up but remain below average for the time of year.
