A 5.3 magnitude earthquake rattled Polis Chrysochous area in Paphos around 5:20 in the morning on Wednesday.
This is what the geological survey department said, adding that the quake was felt in various areas around the country.
The epicentre was located in the sea 160km northwest of Polis Chrysochous at a depth of 80km.
No injuries or serious damage was reported.
