Protective coronavirus measures in Cyprus are further relaxed as from Monday, according to an announcement by the Health Ministry.
Specifically, the total capacity in retail stores, shopping centres and public service offices are now increased to 100 per cent for premises of up to 500 square metres. And to 85 per cent for premises measuring over 500 square metres.
The latest relaxations follow a number of previous ones which came in effect  on Sunday, May 15.
Specifically, it is no longer necessary to demonstrate a Safe Pass in public areas except for visits to nursing homes, closed areas, hospital outpatient clinics and medical and diagnostic centres.
In such instances a 48-hour rapid test or a 72-hour PCR will be required for people who do not hold a valid vaccination or recently recovered certificate.
The Ministry has warned the public that the indoor mask mandate, including their use at airports, still stands except for children under 12.
