Paralimni Municipality on Friday installed a special ramp to enable people with disabilities to enter the sea at a popular Protaras beach.
The new access ramp at “Aeyialos” beach enables people with disabilities to enjoy the sea.
Efforts have been underway in recent years to increase facilities for the disabled at the island’s beaches and about 50 beaches are either fully or partly accessible to the disabled..
