President Anastasiades was discharged from hospital at nine thirty this morning following minor surgery to his spine yesterday.
According to government spokesman Kyriakos Koushios, the surgery was a success and the President is in good health.
Koushios said that the Presidents’ overnight stay at the hospital was for purely precautionary reasons.
He is scheduled to leave for Brussels on Tuesday for the upcoming two day European Council.
