Police on Thursday urged drivers on the Nicosia-Larnaca highway to be extra careful because of heavy rainĀ and low visibility in the Lymbia-Ayia Varvara area.
It called on drivers to drive slowly, keep a safe distance from other vehicles, have their headlights on and to give priority to vehicles coming from the opposite direction where necessary.
