There is thick fog in several areas and roads are slippery, the police said early on Thursday morning as it urged drivers to be particularly careful.
Other than that, it said that no serious problems have been reported on the main roads.
Part of the slow lane on the Limassol-Paphos highway will be closed from 8 pm on Thursday to 6 am on Friday for maintenance work, it added. During this time, entrances to the motorway from the New Hospital roundabout and the Anthoupolis roundabout will be closed and traffic will be diverted through Ypsonas roundabout.
