Police are on the lookout in the Kappari area of Paralimni following reports that foreign nationals were planning outdoor parties with drinking in that particular area but also elsewhere in Paralimni.
The Famagusta police force had received complaints over the past 24 hours of people organising picnics and partying with drinks.
Reports indicated that a larger number would gather in the area today
According to the Famagusta police spokesman Andreas Constantinou, patrols have increased in the area, with similar measures expected to continue over the coming days.
