Police launch campaign against speeding

Police will today launch a week-long road safety campaign targeting speeding. The campaign will continue through to Sunday, May 26.

Excessive speed is one of the main factors in road collisions and the third most common cause for road fatalities in Cyprus.

Police will be carrying out checks on speeding as well as other traffic offences with special emphasis on black spots on the road network.
