Police in Cyprus booked 39 individuals and five establishments for violation of Covid-19 measures over the past 24 hours.
The Force had carried out a total of 3,014 inspections island-wide, according to CNA.
In Nicosia, 1,282 checks were carried out and six citizens and five establishment owners were booked.
In Limassol, out of from 235 inspections seven citizens were booked, while in Larnaka seven citizens got fines after 550 checks.
In Pafos, out of 158 checks three citizens were booked, while in Famagusta 455 checks led to 16 citizens getting fines.
Noone was booked in Morphou region after a total of 98 checks.
Most violations had to do with people not wearing protective masks, police also said.
