Police issued fines to 29 individuals and five establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Force had carried out a total of 3,756 inspections, according to CNA.
In Nicosia, out of 1,474 inspections 8 people were fined while in Limassol 11 citizens and 1 establishment got booked after a total of 334 checks.
In Larnaka, 657 inspections were carried out and 5 people were fined while in Pafos one citizen and four establishments got fines after 304 inspections.
In Famagusta, out of 530 checks 4 citizens got fines while in Morphou no violations were recorded after 124 checks.
Traffic Department and Marine Police carried out 258 and 75 checks respectively and no fines were handed out.
