Police booked 13 citizens and seven establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Force had carried out a total of 2,524 checks island-wide, according to the CNA.
In Nicosia, out of 1,007 checks one citizen and one establishment were fined while, in Limassol, six citizens and four establishments got booked after 225 checks.
In Larnaca, out of 412 checks one citizen and one establishment were fined while in Famagusta 4 citizens were fined after 436 checks.
Out of 133 checks in Paphos one citizen and one establishment were fined while in Morphou no violations were recorded after 192 checks.
