Police fined 145 citizens and three establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Force had carried out a total of 10,150 inspections, according to the CNA.
In Nicosia, out of 2,380 fines 41 citizens were fined, while in Limassol 2,936 checks led to 46 citizens and one shop owner fined.
In Larnaca, out of 1,369 inspections 23 people and one establishment were booked.
In Paphos, police carried out 950 checks and reported 18 individuals plus one establishment, and in Famagusta a total of 1,207 inspections led to 13 people getting fines.
In Morphou, 622 checks were carried out and one person was fined.
In addition, 18 inspections were carried out by Port and Marine Police and no violations was reported.
