Police booked 12 individuals and two establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of COVID-19 measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The force had carried out a total of 2,141 checks island-wide, according to the CNA.
In Nicosia, after 1,007 checks four individuals were fined, while after 193 checks in Limassol four people and two shop owners were booked.
In Larnaca and Morphou, no people were reported after 317 and 142 checks respectively while in Famagusta after 294 checks two people were fined.
In Paphos, after 138 checks two people were fined.
