Police booked 98 individuals and four shop owners all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violating restrictive measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Force had carried out 9,493 inspections, according to CNA.
In Nicosia, out of 1,440 inspections 10 individuals got fines, and in Limassol 50 individuals were booked after 3,136 inspections.
In Larnaca, out of 1,109 checks 17 individuals and one shop owner were booked, while seven individuals and 3 shop owners were booked in Paphos after 1,365 checks.
In Famagusta, out of 1,077 checks 14 individuals got fines and in Morphou no fines were handed out after 725 checks.
In addition, Marine and Port Police carried out 110 checks and fined no one.
