The Police are investigating a complaint about a student’s sexual harassment and have already arrested a 60-year old man, working at her school’s canteen as suspect.
The student, accompanied by her parents, filed a complaint with the Police, saying that the specific person had preceded with indecent actions against her at school.
Immediately the Famagusta Police arrested the man who did not accept the charges. Following his appearance in Court his imprisonment for six days was ordered.
Investigations continue to find out whether there are other cases against the same man, by other girls who have not filed complaints.
